1. About VowPair
VowPair is operated by CypressBit LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("VowPair", "we", "us"). VowPair matches couples planning a wedding with wedding vendors based on budget, date, location and style, and offers planning tools such as a budget tracker, planning team and wedding website.
VowPair is a matching and planning platform. We are not a party to any agreement between a couple and a vendor. We don't provide wedding services, set vendors' prices, handle payments between couples and vendors, or guarantee that a vendor will be available, deliver what they promise, or book with you. Couples and vendors are responsible for their own agreements with each other.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract to create an account.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date. Vendors must represent a real business they're authorized to act for.
- Keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us right away if you think it has been compromised.
- Couples can invite people to their planning team. You're responsible for who you invite and what access you give them, and you can remove them at any time.
3. For couples
- VowPair is free for couples.
- Matches, match scores and price estimates are based on the information you and vendors provide. They're a guide, not a quote. Confirm prices, availability and terms directly with each vendor before you book.
- Vendors you match with can see the details described in our Privacy Policy. Only post a request note or share link with information you're comfortable sharing.
- The budget tracker is your own record. VowPair doesn't process, hold or verify payments to vendors.
- If you collect RSVPs on your wedding website, you're responsible for how you use your guests' information.
4. For vendors
- Keep your profile, prices, packages, service area and availability accurate and current. Matching depends on it.
- You must hold any licenses, permits and insurance your services require, and you're solely responsible for the services you provide and the agreements you make with couples.
- Use couples' information only to respond to and serve that couple about their wedding. Don't add couples to marketing lists, sell or share their information, or contact them after they've declined, closed a request or blocked you.
- Follow VowPair's introduction rules, including one introduction per request. Don't try to get around limits, rankings or privacy controls.
- Paying for a plan never changes how well you match. Rankings are based on fit.
5. Plans, billing and offers
- The Listing plan is free. Paid plans (currently Match and Insights) are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until you cancel.
- You can cancel anytime from your Subscription page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
- If a free trial or promotion applies (for example, a founding-vendor offer), its specific terms are shown when you redeem it. When a free period ends, the regular price applies unless you cancel first, and if no payment method is on file your account returns to the free Listing plan.
- We may change plan prices or features. We'll give you advance notice of a price change, and it takes effect at your next billing period.
- The free website offer is provided by Digitally Boosted, our sister company, under its own terms. Codes are single-use, expire on the date shown, and aren't exchangeable for cash.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post on VowPair, such as profile text, photos, messages, wedding website content and community answers. You give VowPair a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display and adapt it as needed to operate, improve and promote VowPair (for example, showing a vendor's public profile in search results). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups or where others have already received it (like messages you've sent).
Only post content you have the right to post. Don't upload photos or text you don't own or have permission to use, and make sure people shown in your photos are okay with it.
We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law, and we review reports from users.
7. Acceptable use
Don't use VowPair to:
- post false, misleading or fraudulent information, or impersonate anyone;
- harass, threaten, discriminate against or abuse anyone;
- send spam or unsolicited promotions, or collect other users' information;
- post content that is illegal, infringing, sexually explicit or hateful;
- scrape, copy or resell VowPair data, or access VowPair with bots without our written permission;
- interfere with or try to break VowPair's security or systems; or
- violate any law.
8. AI-drafted content
Some features, like the wedding website and invitation drafts, use AI to generate content from what you provide. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete. Review and edit it before you publish or share it. You're responsible for what you publish.
9. Third-party services and links
VowPair links to and works with third-party services, such as vendors' own websites and booking tools, Stripe for payments, and Digitally Boosted. Their own terms and privacy policies apply, and we aren't responsible for them.
10. Suspension and termination
You can stop using VowPair and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts, or remove content, that break these terms, put other users at risk, or expose us to legal risk. Where reasonable we'll tell you why. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as content licenses already used, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law) continue to apply.
11. Disclaimers
VowPair is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't warrant that VowPair will be uninterrupted or error-free, that matches will lead to bookings, or that any vendor or user is who they say they are or will perform as promised. Use your own judgment when hiring a vendor.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VowPair and CypressBit LLC won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of VowPair or from any dealings between couples and vendors. Our total liability for any claim relating to VowPair is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and (b) US $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
13. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify VowPair and CypressBit LLC against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your content, your use of VowPair, your services (for vendors), or your breach of these terms or the law.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be handled exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date, and if the changes are significant we'll notify you by email or in VowPair before they take effect. If you keep using VowPair after the changes take effect, you accept the new terms.
